Sam is an experienced public policy practitioner, community organiser, and equalities advocate with over 10 years of experience working in the public sector across two countries. He currently works for Transport for London developing and implementing strategies to expand Accessibility across London’s transport network.
Sam has a passion for education, believing it is an essential building block for the pursuit of all other aspects of life. He has experience of being in both formal and informal education environments, including being educated in a special school that focused on children with ADHD and ASD.
Sam’s professional experience includes Educational policy development; Practical application of Equalities legislation; and GDPR, Data Protection & FOI compliance. Sam is also autistic and a strong believer in deconstructing the medical model of autism as a method to bring full inclusion of autistic people in their education, life, and our society as a whole.
